Requirements

Participants are to be divided in two groups, depending on their age:

* Latin American Countries: Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Dominican Republic, Uruguay, Venezuela.

Mandatory Documents

We will publish our application portal soon, in which the candidates will be able to upload their information and send it to the organizational committee in a digital format.

The mandatory documents will be the following:

1. Signed and Scanned Registration Application with a photograph. The application format will be generated automatically by the new application portal, using the information provided by the applicant.
2. Scan of birth certificate.
3. Scan of official ID. Personal ID card (for Mexicans) or the first pages of the passport (for foreigners). (In case the participant is underage and doesn't have neither an ID card nor a passport, a sealed school ID card or some other institution ID card with a photograph of the person can be used).
4. Scan of the corresponding immigration document for foreigners residing in Mexico.
5. Scans of Signed Recommendation letters from two professional pianists who have knowledge of the participant's career path.
6. Artistic resume. Must be prepared to be included in the book of the competition, and must contain:
   • Information on musical studies.
   • Names of educational institutions from which you have received your musical formation.
   • List of professors that have been crucial in your pianistic formation.
   • List of awards, acknowledgements and distinctions.
7. Proof, certificate or diploma of music studies. In case the participant has won competitions, attach scans of the recognition documents or diplomas that are mentioned in the resume.
8. One high resolution color artistic photograph for the Competition's book.
9. Scan of payment proof, or digital payment proof for the "Qualification Stage" fee.

   For Mexicans or foreigners residing in Mexico

   Cover the fee in the amount of $850.00 MXN for the "Qualification Stage". The bank account where you can deposit the fee is:

   For Latin American Participants

   Send the amount of $50 USD to the PayPal account soporte@cndepianojjcuevas.com

   You must send an e-mail to the organizational committee to notify of your payment, so that in a period of no more than 24 hours the committee could confirm the payment receival.

   It's recommendable to make the deposit on the same day you send your documentation.

10. Video file with the material required for the "Qualification Stage".
    The video will be uploaded to the application portal of the Competition's website. The video must comply with the restrictions established in the portal.

All the documents must be sent through the application portal until Monday, June 5^th, 2023.

To make the uploading process easier for you, the portal will allow for information to be uploaded in parts, so that you can submit everything once you have all the necessary information.

No documentation nor video files uploaded to the application portal after Monday, June 5^th, 2023.

* Very Important: on the same day of sending the information via the application portal, the applicant must inform the organizational committee via e-mail that he/she has uploaded the information on the application portal.

Once the documentation is received, the Organizational Committee will review it and view the recording for the Qualification Stage.

The Organizational Committee will inform the selected candidates of their participation in the Competition no later than Friday, June 30^th, 2023 via e-mail.
